The program to differentiate exceptional app vendors in the Atlassian Marketplace was initially called "Atlassian Verified", which has now been overhauled and reborn last year as the "Top Vendor Program".
What makes a Top Vendor?

First off, the Top Vendor badge means proven excellence in software quality, reliability and top notch customer support.

Top Vendors must offer customer support at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, according to a publicly declared SLA.

There should be a published documentation in English for every app sold.

An issue tracker must be used to solve customer requests and also a 24/7 contact information must be provided to Atlassian.
These requirements and many more are verified and continuously monitored by Atlassian.
Midori is now a Gold Top Vendor
Midori has been proudly Atlassian Verified and after the name change, a Top Vendor since 2016.
But the redesign of the program in 2018 didn’t only bring a mere name change. It brought tiers: on top of Top Vendor you can now achieve Gold and Platinum status, with their own higher requirements of performance and app popularity.
We have been on the verge of getting the Gold Top Vendor status, as our customers’ feedback about our support service and our product have been outstanding. But there was one thing among the requirements that we lacked: a cloud version of our most popular server product, which is Better PDF Exporter in our case.
As we released Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud, we ticked the last missing checkbox for the Gold Top Vendor status!
What comes next?
We will continue to strive to live up to the trust of our customers, signified by our top-rated apps. We will also find the time to improve our products and customer service experience. Adding Better PDF Exporter Cloud to our family of apps is the latest result of these efforts. We bring professional Jira to PDF exports and reports to Jira Cloud users with it, and we aim to release the cloud versions of the rest of our apps in the future.
