Migrate from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud
We have created a migration guide to help you migrate your content lifecycle management workflows from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud.
Since Confluence Cloud uses a different API for apps than Confluence Data Center, we built the Cloud version of the app from the ground up, leveraging the knowledge and experience we've gained from the Data Center version. As a result, the Cloud version works differently in several aspects.
Even if you're very familiar with the Data Center version, we highly recommend reviewing the migration guide.
