Installing the app

You can easily install the Better Excel Exporter for Jira Cloud app using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) that is built into Jira Cloud.

Steps:

  1. Login to Jira as administrator, go to Apps → Explore more apps (might be called Explore apps or Find new apps on the legacy Jira interface) and search for the term "better excel exporter".
  2. Click the first app found → Try it free → Start free trial.
  3. Wait until the "Better Excel Exporter for Jira installed successfully" message appears in the bottom left.
  4. Click Apps → Manage apps (might be under the "..." menu on the legacy Jira interface).
  5. Check whether "Better Excel Exporter for Jira Cloud" is visible in the User-installed apps list.
